The heavy rainfall that drenched the Tuscaloosa area early Wednesday morning has pushed east, according tof the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
The threat of an isolated tornado in most of West Alabama has diminished, according to the weather service, as the storm system has taken an eastward direction.
Forecasters predicted rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms, in the Tuscaloosa area Wednesday morning.
While the rest of the day should be dry, there's a slight chance of rain Wednesay night -- most likely a drizzle -- after 7 p.m.
The low temperature Wednesday will be in the low 50s, with patchy fog possible after 10 p.m.
