2851 minority students availed benefits of overseas study

A total of 2,851 students belonging to minority communities have availed benefits of the Centre's 'Padho Pardesh' scheme, the was informed today.

Under the scheme, interest subsidy is offered to students from the minority communities on educational loans taken for pursuing overseas studies like masters and MPhil/PhD.
