NARAYANGANJ: The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 has detained two members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from city’s Sayedabad Bus Terminal area.
This was confirmed through press release issued from the RAB-11 on Wednesday (December 20).
The detainees are- Mizanur Rahman alias Abdullah alias Abdullah Al Mizan, 37, and Ibrahim Khalil alias Ibrahim alias Shahjahan, 30.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Senior Assistant Director of RAB 11 Md. Shakil Ahmed said that on secret information, the two active members of Sarwar-Tamim group were detained in the drive.
Both of them are accused in some cases. Some Jihadi books and leaflets were also seized from them.
