Diane Abbott joins Hackney Playbus gang, thanks to Health Lottery
DIANE Abbott has met families and children for a tour of a double decker bus converted for early years play.

The shadow Home Secretary chatted to parents and volunteers involved with the Hackney Playbus, which delivers activities for under fives and services for parents.
It is funded by People’s Health Trust with money raised by HealthPromote through The Health Lottery.
Mrs Abbott said: “The Playbus is one of the most loved children’s services in Hackney in east London.
“It provides children with the opportunity for messy, open-air play and brings families together.
“I am very happy to support it.”
It comes after MPs called on the Government to allow the Health Lottery and other society lotteries to give prizes of up £1 million.

During the debate in Westminster Hall, MPs said there was no conflict between the National Lottery and society lotteries and criticised Camelot for its attempt to stop the Health Lottery in the courts before it was launched in 2011.
Leading the debate Tory North West Norfolk MP Sir Henry Bellingham argued that the Health Lottery and other society lotteries had been a huge success in raising money for good causes.
He praised the Health Lottery for funding 45 projects in Norfolk with £1.6 million from almost £100 million spent across the UK.
