Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, the prince of Nawab family Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to celebrate his first birthday in the palace. The buzz around his birthday is too high and the fan clubs have turned super active for D day. But you might want to recollect that this buzz started right from a year ago. Kareena Kapoor Khan flaunted her baby bump stylishly and her fans started speculating about the baby already. There was a buzz right from the delivery of the baby to the diet that she followed.
Exactly 365 days ago, Taimur came into this world. But that was not the news! The news was the fake picture of a baby that went viral as Taimur’s first picture. After it was declared as fake and the real one was out, it ruled the internet for several days, just like photos from Virushka’s wedding! After that picture, there was no stopping. As the fans were busy awwwing over this baby boy, a controversy suddenly hit the net. His name, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi was dissed by the trolls to the core.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan chose to keep mum on the subject but as the trolling surpassed the tolerable level, they broke the silence. Revealing that he is aware of the ruler and that the name means ‘iron’, Saif had told a leading tabloid, “I should have added a disclaimer, as they do in the movies, that any resemblance to any person, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Yes, there were some people who raised some objections but obviously just to look at medieval history and to make value judgments is, I think, ridiculous, and a lot of people have said that on my behalf. I feel quite confident that we don’t live in a right-wing society. As yet, India is still liberal and people are still open-minded.”
As the issue subsided and more pictures came out, the perception of people towards Taimur started changing. His innocent, curious eyes and expressions were too adorable to even go back to the controversy and he finally won the hearts. Soon after that, he was snapped at airports and outside his house, it is then when Saif and Kareena decided to teach him to greet the paparazzi and not hide him anymore.
