You’ll be able to get Two Bros. BBQ Market’s three barbecue sauces at H-E-B in just a few weeks.
Celebrity chef and restaurant owner Jason Dady said that the first batch of sauces went through the bottling process and final taste test today.
Dady said the sauces, which will be an H-E-B exclusive, will be sold in about 150 stores throughout Texas in January and will be priced at around $4 per bottle.
The commercial sauces have undergone a bit of a name change. The Two Bros. Sweet Thang recipe will now be called the Local Yokel. The popular Shiner Espresso sauce will be called Tough Guy, and the Tangy will be renamed the Out of Towner.
“The recipes are all the same thing,” Dady said. “But the large-scale bottling process is completely different than what we go through at the restaurant. The food scientists are amazing to make it all happen, but the sauces you buy in the store will be as close as possible to what we serve at Two Bros.”
Dady said the project has been in development for a number of months with partners who were simply fans of the Two Bros. product.

“I’m certainly humbled by this opportunity,” Dady said. “All of the pieces just sort of fit.”
Dady said he will start doing live events with pitmaster Laura Loomis to get the word out on the sauces throughout Texas.
One change that may have to be made in accordance with the deal is the future of house-made sauce sales directly from the Two Bros. property. Dady was unsure if that could continue, or those to-go sauces would have to be same offered at H-E-B. Stay tuned, sauce fans.
