Vodafone has teamed up with Itel to launch a low-cost 4G smartphone, the Itel A20. The device costs Rs 3,690, however, Vodafone is offering a cashback of Rs 2,100 on it, which brings down its effective price to Rs 1,590.
In order to receive the cashback, users will have to buy the smartphone at a price of 3,690. On recharging their Vodafone connection with a minimum amount of Rs 150 per month for 18 months, customers will receive a cashback of Rs 900. Additionally, cashback of Rs 1,200 will be refunded if users continue to recharge with Rs 150 for another 18 months. The recharges can be done cumulatively or as a one-time recharge. Buyers will receive the cashback in their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets and the offer is valid until March 31, 2018.
In terms of specifications, the Itel A20 is powered by a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM coupled with 8GB of internal storage. It supports 4G VoLTE and ViLTE (Video over LTE) and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The device is backed by a 1500 mAh Lithium-ion battery.

Vodafone had previously partnered with Micromax to offer cashback on smartphones like the Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 2 Ultra, Bharat 3, Bharat 4, Bharat 5, and the Canvas 1.
