Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday said that the government is in favour of bringing petroleum products under the ambit of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Speaking on the floor of the Upper House, FM said that the Centre is awaiting a consensus from all states in this regard before the GST Council pressed into motion.
