It’s not too late to squeeze in a little more holiday cheer. WinterFest at California’s Great America runs through Dec. 30, giving you one last chance to shoot-the-duck on Snowflake Lake, watch the “It’s Christmas, Snoopy” ice show and take in nightly tree lightings. And there’s nothing like a flight on the Patriot, a floorless roller coaster that does its 360-degree loop faster than Santa’s sleigh.
The park is partially closed, but in addition to the ongoing live entertainment, there are more than 25 rides and attractions and way smaller crowds than your average day at an amusement park in July.
