Budding professionals to learn spiritualism basics at Magh Mela

ALLAHABAD: Budding techies, doctors and other professionals will be converging on the banks of Ganga during Magh Mela commencing from January 2, 2018 to learn about spirituality, astrology and vastu from prominent seers and saints at the camps of spiritual and religious organisations.
Over 50 youths from different fields would be joining the camp of Ram Naam Sewa Sansthan at Akshayvat Marg alone to learn the basics of spiritualism and experience the rigorous kalpwas.

Head of the Ram Naam Sewa Sansthan Ashutosh Varshney said that youths pursuing professional and degree courses are joining their camp at Magh Mela commencing from January 2. He further added, "With changing scenario, future engineers, doctors and professionals are seeking knowledge in the fields of astrology, vastu and spiritualism and would stay on the banks at the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and mythological Saraswati."

"The quest for divinity, spiritual heritage has increased manifold among students in recent three to four years and this was aptly proved by the fact that various national and international universities were conducing research on spiritualism on the banks of Ganga," he further added.

"Even students from abroad have contacted various organisations to attain knowledge of ancient vedic culture and associated rituals in the country. In 2013 Mahakumbh, over 30 students including kids were awarded for showing their talent in the largest congregation of the world," said Varshney.


Chief of Ganga Sena Anand Giri said that many youngsters have expressed keenness to attend their camp to learn the basics of spiritualism.


"Chanting of mantras and shlokas on the pious Ganga banks is considered auspicious and hence people of all age groups are joining camps. Spiritual activities help develop inner strength in individuals besides helping them fight stress and depression and attain satisfaction and salvation," said seers.


Students will be joining camps from Paush Poornima to learn the basics of spiritualism. Classes of occult sciences, astrology, vastu, fengshui, numerology will also be held at Sangam during Magh Mela.
