HVSU will impart 40 hours skill development training to about 2500 students Soon

Chandigarh, Dec 19 – Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University (HVSU) will impart 40 hours skill development training to about 2500 students of Government Colleges in the state.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Higher Education Department said that the department has entered into the collaboration with the HVSU for imparting training in communication, soft skills and other professional skills. He said that to begin with, HVSU in collaboration with global BPM leader-Concentrix Daksh India Limited would impart training in the colleges located in and around Faridabad, Gurugram, Palwal, and Mahendergarh. It would help the students to improve their employability once they pass out from the colleges.
He said that Principals of Government College, Faridabad, Palwal, Sector-14, Gurugram, and Mahendergarh have been asked to make batches of 25-30 students preferably of final year as five-day training comprising of 40 hours would be imparted to them.
It may be mentioned here that HVSU had conducted a survey in which youth of the state had preferred six sectors for pursuing their career opportunities including sports, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), IT/ITes, automobile, healthcare, and hospitality. These and other sectors require high quality of communication skills, preventability, preparedness, business communication and IT skills.
