Bigg Boss 11 saw the rather shocking eviction of Hiten Tejwani last weekend. It was Shilpa Shinde who voted him out in the end minute shocking one and all. Hiten Tejwani who is back in the real world and says he is finding it better says, “I can understand Shilpa being upset. She saw some videos that annoyed her a lot.” The actor says he became aware of the backlash faced by Hina Khan only after he came out of the house. He says he is watching the old videos now. He told Bollywood Life, “I got to know about the criticism Hina is facing now. I was present before her when she was saying such stuff. It seems she has said something and done something else together. One should practice what one preaches. The videos are not morphed nor are they mixing two videos together. It is recorded live. She has definitely gone wrong somewhere with her conduct.” The actor also spoke about Hina being termed fake by people. He stated, “I think she is fake. On many occasions, she has done certain things. I can see that the friendship is also fake. In the name of friendship, she has done certain things. Hina says she is okay with everything but she has problems with everything.” Hiten feels he was the most genuine guy inside the house and others are just playing a game. He says he did not get into fake fights or shout at the top of his lungs for nothing. “Many issues that led to fights could have been handled aaram se. I took a stand when I felt like it,” he says. On the show, his cute flirtations with Arshi Khan made us smile. However, he faced some flak when he did not give an opinion about the body-shaming that Shilpa and Arshi Khan faced inside the house. The actor got criticised for not speaking up in Arshi defense as she was being insulted for what she was wearing inside the house. Hiten told us, “I came to know about body-shaming when Salman Sir raised the issue in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. What someone is wearing is his or her choice. It depends on the individual. One could have told Arshi that her outfits are making other uncomfortable so she should be little careful. But then she spoke about tearing off her clothes in the house! As a man, I could have voiced my opinion but then I feel it is a matter of personal choice and freedom. If people told her she would retort that they stop looking at her if it made them uncomfortable. But she was in front of us, so I felt it was better not to comment. He also feels that Salman Khan is not biased. The actor said that Arshi Khan would annoy Shilpa Shinde the whole day and she would not retort. He said that it was visible to Salman who told Arshi and Akash Dadlani to mend their ways and they came across as mean people. “Whatever Salman pinpointed out was correct,” opines Hiten. He says he wants to see Vikas Gupta win the show as Vikas wanted the same for him. “Shilpa is a strong contender of course. I feel Arshi Khan is playing a very smart game. In the 11 weeks, she got nominated only once. She is a good player and can be a finalist. Hina Khan has a very strong fan base and is doing good inside the house,” feels Hiten. He also had some nice words to say about Arshi for the support she showed towards him inside the house. “She was very loyal. I must credit her for that,” he says. Lastly, when we asked him about who was the most manipulative person, he said, “I can say that Shilpa is manipulative now given how she turned the game. She looks manipulative definitely. The rest are ok,” he signs off.
