Railways cancels three trains

PATNA: Railways on Tuesday cancelled Mahananda Express, Toofan Express and Malda Town-New Delhi Express and rescheduled four mail and express trains from Patna Junction due to late running of trains in foggy weather conditions in the Danapur division of the East Central Railway.

According to sources, railways on Tuesday rescheduled Patna-Ernakulam Express (16360) at 7.45pm and Patna-Kota Express (13237) at 5.10pm. Similarly, Islampur-New Delhi Magadh Express (12401) was rescheduled at 8pm from Patna Junction while Patna-New Delhi Sampoorna Kranti Express (12393) was rescheduled at 6.30pm, sources said.


Besides, half a dozen express trains passing through Danapur division were also running about five to six hours behind their schedule due to foggy weather conditions on Tuesday, sources said.
