Three get life for murder

A Speedy Trial Tribunal (STT) in Dhaka on Monday sentenced three persons to life imprisonment for killing a man named Humayun Kabir Titu in the capital's Kadamtali in 2010.
Judge Abdur Rahman Sardar of STT-4 delivered the judgement. The lifers are Md Sohagh, Md Mamun Sheikh and Robin Sheikh. They were tried in absentia
According to the case statement, the convicts shot the victim, Humayun Kabir Titu, in front of Nannu store under Kadamtaloi Police Station while he was returning home on November 26 in 2010. The bullet-hit Humayun was rushed to DMCH where the doctors declared him dead.
