A source close to Bollywoodlife EXCLUSIVELY revealed – Velaikkaran Tamil Nadu theatrical rights have been sold for Rs 38.32 crores to individual distributors! As of now it’s more than Suriya‘s Thaana Serndha Kootam theatrical rights cost – Rs Rs 36.5 crore. But individual areas in TN are yet to be calculated for Thaana Serndha Kootam . While Suriya’s film might end up with a collectively bigger theatrical price, the fact that Siva Karthikeyan, an up and coming actor is on par with Suriya says a lot! If Velaikkaran fares well at the box office we won’t be surprised if Siva Karthikeyan goes on to become the most sought after actor in Kollywood. Velaikkaran is set to release on December 22. Akhil Akkineni’s Hello will also release on the same day. As for Thaana Serndha Kootam , it’s set to release in Pongal 2018.
