The Titagarh Group is looking to explore investment opportunities in Morocco's expanding rail sector.
"It is very opportune time to look for ties with Morocco. They are new entrants in the African Union and close to Europe. We are for more investment," Titagarh Group CEO Umesh Chowdhary told PTI after meeting a Moroccan delegation here.
"We are discussing various possibilities in the rail sector. They (Morocco) are very pro-business," he added.
Titagarh Group had sent a delegation to Morocco in September to explore investments opportunities in the North African country's rail space.
The Indian delegation also met with officials from Morocco's rail transport company, ONCF and visited the site of the high-speed railway in Tangier.
