Bourses open up

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened the early hours with upward trend on Tuesday, the third trading of the week, as investors are active on banking sector shares.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 122.51 crore when the report was filed.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 6,249 points increasing 25 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,375 points rising 1 point.

The DS30 index also increased 4 points to stand 2,248 points.

Of the issues traded today, 118 advanced, 122 declined and 65 remained unchanged.

In Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), turnover stood at Tk 4.51 crore.  

Selective Category Index - CSCX - rose 65 points to stand at around 19,337 points.

Of the issues traded, 52 gained, 49 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
