Okinawa Praise, the all-new e-Scooter from the electric vehicle manufacturer is has been launched in India today priced at Rs. 59,889 (ex-showroom, Delhi0. This is the second electric scooter from the company after the Okinawa Ridge, which was launched in India early this year and also won the prestigious the NDTV Green Award at the 2018 NDTV Car and Bike Show. Okinawa Introduces New Lethium-ion Battery Along With the new Praise
The company has also introduced a new Lithium-ion battery which will be portable and offers 80% charge in 45 mins. Praise with lithium Ion battery will be launched in the next 2-3 months. It will be Rs. 5,000-6,000 more than the current lead acid one.

The new Okinawa Praise offers a power output of 2500 Watt, which is about 3.4 bhp . The scooter comes in three speed modes Economy (35 kmph), Sporty (65 kmph) and Turbo (75 kmph). Also, the Okinawa Praise e-scooter offers a range of 170 km to 200 km on a full charge.

The Okinawa Praise's electric motor comes with two battery option - 72V/45 Ah VRLA battery and an optional Lithium-ion batter of the same capacity. The former takes a charging time of 6-8 hrs for a full charge, while the Lithium-ion battery takes 1-2 hrs.
