Nagpur. A grand book-launching ceremony of Anup Shrivastav's new books 'Paidageer' and 'Shouch Mein Soch' took place at Mor Hindi Bhavan on Sunday. Chief guests at the event were Vidharbha Chandika editor Mahesh Purohit, HOD of psychology department in Nagpur University Nihal Ranjan Mrunal and Navbharat Group senior journalist Chandramohan Dwivedi.
Briefing about the book's origination, the author said, "I got the idea of 'Paidageer' in1990 and conveyed it to Dwivedi' s father. Later, we worked on it and wrote about 30-40 episodes on the life of pickpockets. Prem Prakashan, a publication from Delhi, helped me publish the book. On the other hand, my work 'Shouch Mein Soch' was a very absurd thought. I thought the person who is sitting in toilet can think the best and gets loads of new ideas there. I wrote the book to convey the same thought humorously."
'Paidageer' is an investigative report on pickpockets. The book tells about their life, their struggle for livelihood and at the same time it also warns common people to be alert so that they can prevent themselves from getting trapped into such a theft. Authors main motive of writing this book was to explain them that they could adopt any other occupation and live their life with honesty," Shrivastav said.
"The second book 'Shouch Mein Soch' is comic series where it is very amusingly communicated that freshening up is a natural process and thinking is the birthright of every person alive. It is also a perpetual truth that every person thinks well while in the bathroom, and this book is a satirical piece based on human thoughts," the writer said.
Purohit said, "Shrivastav has beautifully described about the pickpockets and also given a well-described portrayal of hundreds of techniques that pickpockets apply.

'Shouch Mein Soch' is a very unusual and novel contemplation. Only Shrivastav can write on such unique topics," he said.
