Kent is currently on a season-long loan with German outfit Freiburg but has made just one start in the Bundesliga.
According to the Mirror, Anfield bosses are considering recalling the 21-year-old.
And it's claimed the three Championship clubs are on alert to swoop.
Kent has previous experience of second-tier football, having spent last season on loan with Barnsley.
He made 47 appearances for the Tykes, scoring three goals and providing three assists in all competitions.
Kent earned his senior debut for Liverpool in an FA Cup match in 2016 but has not featured for Jurgen Klopp’s first team since.
The 21-year-old put pen to paper on a long-term contract in August before joining Freiburg.
“It’s a big achievement,” he said. “It’s pay off for all the hard work that’s been put in over the last few years, so it’s a big achievement for me, my mum, my dad, my family and friends that have been with me throughout this big journey. I’m looking forward to kicking on in the future now.

“It was an easy decision. I am with a manager here that is willing to play young players and invest his time into my progression as a player.
“Liverpool has the right foundations to make me a good player in the future.”
