The BJP on Monday demanded that Ganjam district be declared a 100-per cent crop loss affected district as paddy and vegetables and flowers lost completely due to pest attack and untimely rains, respectively.
The party passed a resolution in this regard at its Ganjam district executive meeting held hereon Sunday. State secretary (organisation) Sarada Prasad Satpathy called upon all to work hard to strengthen the party in the district.
The party also discussed on the alleged irregularities in rice supply and demanded a high-level meeting on the PC culture. The party resolved to hold agitations at blocks.
