MANILA: The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific Air (CEB), expands its payment channels to enable Filipino expatriates to pay for their flight bookings even if they do not have credit cards. CEB has partnered with PayRemit, a payment gateway owned by the Ventaja International Corp.
Through PayRemit, travellers can now purchase tickets online, whether via the CEB website or the mobile app, even without a credit card. Customers have to simply take note of the reference number and present it over-the-counter at any of the authorised PeyRemit counters in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Canada, then settle in cash.
“PayRemit allows more of our Filipino expatriates the opportunity to book year-round low fares on Cebu Pacific, and pay for these through a convenient and hassle-free payment portal. Our kababayans abroad have more flexibility to book and buy flights,” said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing of Cebu Pacific.
PayRemit is available in 26 countries with 55 remittances agents and their 500+ branches. Filipino expatriates may pay for their Cebu Pacific flights at any of the following exchange houses in the UAE: Al Fuad Exchange, Al Ghurair Exchange, Al Rostamani International Exchange, Delma Exchange, Emirates India International Exchange, Progoti Exchange, and UAE Exchange.
