CBSE 2018 Date Sheet

New Delhi:
Putting to rest the speculations that the CBSE 2018 Class 10 and Class 12 exams can be preponed in the wake of Holi, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Monday in an official notification said the 2018 board exams will be held in March.

In an official notification issued for the nomination and deployment of regular teachers for the evaluation of Answer Scripts of Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) School Certificate Examinations 2018, the board said it will conduct AISSE and AISSCE Examinations in March 2018 for Secondary and Senior Secondary Level.

Though it is not officially confirmed as yet, the time table or date sheet of the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examination 2018 is expected to be released by January 10, 2018.

In 2017, the CBSE Class X and Class XII both exams began on March 09, 2017. And, while the Class X exam ended on April 10, the Class XII 2017 exam continued till April 29.

But, because the Holi festival is falling on March 02, 2018 it was feared that the 2018 CBSE Board Examinations would be preponed to start from February 26. The latest notification released by the CBSE has allayed all such fears.

Meanwhile, according to the CBSE Circular, the 2018 Class 12 and Class 10 practical exams in Schools and Junior Colleges will begin from January 16. The Schools and Junior Colleges are asked to upload the practical marks on the CBSE website by February 25, 2018.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was founded on November 3, 1962. It's headquartered at Preet Vihar, New Delhi. CBSE regulates and supervises the development of education in the country.

The primary function of the CBSE includes preparing academic programmes and organising examinations, especially for Class 10 and Class 12 students. CBSE was established in 1962.

CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India.
