Atlus has announced a remake of Catherine, titled Catherine: Full Body, is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

As reported by Persona Central, Catherine: Full Body is being developed by Studio Zero, the new internal development team at Atlus that's working on a role-playing game codenamed Project Re Fantasy.

The outlet also reports that, according the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine (via Ryokutya2089 and Hachima Kikou), in addition to Catherine and Katherine, Catherine: Full Body will feature a third girl named Rin. A pianist hired at the Stray Sheep bar, Rin is a more gentle and unassertive character whose role in the narrative will be split between Catherine and Katherine.

Other new additions to Catherine: Full Body include new endings and story episodes, as well as a large array of difficulty options, a new block moving mechanic, an online battle feature, and PS4/Vita cross-save support.

The "Full Body" subtitle comes from its connection to wine, symbolizing a richer experience for players. While Atlus has yet to announce a release date or price, development is said to be 50 percent complete. The remake's announcement follows a Catherine-related tease from Atlus back in August.

Atlus will hold a Niconico livestream on December 22 to provide more details about the game. In the meantime, you can check out the official website for Catherine: Full Body right here.
