“15: A Quinceañera Story” (7 p.m., HBO): This is a compelling series of four short films that chronicle five very different young American Latinas, including an amateur boxer, as they prepare to celebrate their 15th birthdays while navigating the coming-of-age complexities in today’s society.
“Home for the Holidays” (8 p.m., CBS): Singer-songwriter Josh Groban is our host for the annual special devoted to raising awareness of foster care adoption. Kelly Clarkson, Kacey Musgraves and Kane Brown are set to perform.
“The Voice” (9 p.m., NBC): Season 13 finally culminates with the crowning of a champion, but not before a bloated two-hour finale filled with music, flashbacks and wisecracks. The guest performance list includes Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, N.E.R.D., Charlie Puth, Sia and season 12 winner Chris Blue. Additionally, the Top 8 artists will deliver various collaborations with Bastille, Vince Gill, Billy Idol, Jessie J, Norah Jones, Bebe Rexha and Sia.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (9 p.m., Bravo): It’s back to La La Land as the reality series returns for Season 8. Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Lisa Vanderpump are joined by new housewife Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and friend Camille Grammer for a season of lavish adventures, uncontrollable laugher and confrontations aplenty.
“I Am Sam Kinison” (10 p.m., Spike TV): This new documentary recalls the comedic pioneer whose life ranged from the restrained to the excessive, the comedic to the tragic, and from the sublime to the ridiculous. (At midnight, Spike will air the uncensored version of the film, containing mature content).
“Players Only” (11 p.m., NBA TV): The network’s monthly series opens with with an hourlong interview between longtime friends and former competitors Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Isiah Thomas. They reconnect and look back on four decades of memories and experiences, including the 1988 NBA Finals, the pair’s off-season travels and bonding, how they balanced their friendship and competitiveness, and the ups and downs of their relationship leading up to their recent reunion.
