The Irons are now out of the relegation zone having pieced together a three-match unbeaten run under the Scottish coach.
A 1-0 win over Chelsea was followed up by a goalless draw with Arsenal before Saturday’s convincing victory.
And the squad seem to be enjoying themselves once again following a miserable start to the season.

In the aftermath of the game at the Bet365 Stadium, the West Ham players marched over to the travelling support to hand over their match-worn shirts.
Welsh defender James Collins launched his into the stands to celebrate a clean sheet, while goalkeeper Adrian – who replaced Joe Hart for the third game running – followed suit.
But instead of handing his to a child in the front row, he picked out an adult sitting further back and tossed it over.
The hilarious snub was picked up by fans online, who hailed the Spaniard’s ruthless attitude.

“If Adrian had given his shirt to those kids it would've made their day, their week, their year, their childhood,” one fan said.
“Instead he completely ignored them and gave it to a grown man. This is the b******* we were missing under Bilic. Top b*******. Love it.”
The Hammers welcome Newcastle to the London Stadium on Saturday in a pivotal clash at the foot of the table.
A win could see them move five points clear of fellow relegation strugglers Newcastle.
