PANAJI: Goa saw talented artists showcasing a
spectacular theatrical dance drama performed by two of the oldest and most traditional
rich cultures and natives of Asia. Chinese contemporary and Indian classical music dance performance fused together to present 'Shiv
Yin - A Celebration of Life' at the ongoing
Serendipity Arts Festival in Goa.
While the performance displays each art-form imbibed in its own culture, here was a mix between the Chinese and Indian dancers, each representing the male and female energies. Interplays of duos and solos were choreographed to act out the emotional, expressive and physical flow of contemporary dance.
'Explorations with Shadow and Light' curated by musician
Ranjit Barot, on the other hand displayed a contemporary classical music compilation that serenades audiences with original songs by the band Shadow and Light in collaboration with a line-up of truly exceptional artists.
