Furious Brexiteer CUTS OFF radio call after host brands him a ‘PETULANT child'

A RAGING Brexiteer was called a “petulant child” during a live radio interview after he said there are a group of Tory MPs out to thwart Brexit.

The Leave voter cut the radio call short after facing a grilling from LBC host Shelagh Fogarty who claimed  had “sailed” through the Commons.

Ms Fogarty said the idea that there is a group in Parliament out to stop Brexit is a “myth” and “it isn’t happening”.

suffered defeat after a group of 11 Tory rebels led by former attorney general Dominic Grieve demanded a “meaningful vote” on the terms of the UK’s withdrawal bill.

Kevin, from Oxford, told LBC that MPs were attempting to halt the Brexit process. He said: “No one has a magic wand or crystal ball to see what’s going to happen in the future with Brexit.

The radio caller said MPs are out to halt Brexit

“What we need to do is get on with the job and stop blocking it at all angles.”

But Ms Fogarty hit back and said Brexit is “storming on through on track”. She said Parliament had voted through the triggering of Article 50 and Mrs May has won 35 of the 36 votes in the Commons

She said: “You are getting your way, Kevin. But you’re acting like a petulant child who isn’t getting his way.”

Kevin then cut off the call and Ms Fogarty said: “Well, you see, he’s even just hung the phone up on me.”

Ms Fogarty claimed Kevin “only likes his own view” and “doesn’t like democracy”.

MPs voted 309 to 305 in favour of an amendment tabled by a group of Tory MPs against the Withdrawal Bill.

Tory rebel Nicky Morgan tweeted: "Tonight Parliament took control of the EU Withdrawal process."

A Government spokeswoman said it was "disappointed" by the vote and that the  “amendment does not prevent us from preparing our statute book for exit day".
