Afghanistan- 2 dead, 31 injured in Lashkargah car bombing

(MENAFN - Pajhwok Afghan News) LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and at least 31 others wounded in a car-bomb attack targeting a convoy of security forces in the capital of southern Helmand province.

The blast ripped through the convoy of the Public Order Police in Lashkargah on Monday evening. Omar Zwak, the governor's spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News two people were killed and 31 others, mostly civilians, wounded.

A source in the Emergency Hospital in Lashkargah, meanwhile, confirmed receiving 31 injured people and two bodies had been taken to the hospital.
