Birmingham departure
10:40: Birmingham have cancelled David Cotterill’s contract.
The 30-year-old Wales international was due to leave St Andrew’s at the end of the season.
He made 109 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals.
Terry return
10:10: John Terry could be fit before Aston Villa’s final game of 2017 against Middlesbrough.
The 37-year-old has been sidelined since the start of November with a broken metatarsal.
“I’m on the verge of getting back fit at the moment,” Terry said on MNF.
“I’m back running and hoping to join the group after this week’s hard run.
“Hopefully I will rejoin the group next week, be ready if not before New Year, hopefully after."
Preston swoop
09:40: Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is set to join Preston North End.
According to The Sun, Preston boss Alex Neil wants to beef up his squad ahead of a play-off push and the club are ready to rush through a move.
Wilson, 20, is yet to feature for Liverpool this season, despite impressing at Premier League 2 level.
Leeds exits
09:10: Leeds United have released twins Paul and Jack McKay, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The 21-year-olds agreed to terminate their contracts early, six months before they were due to expire.
They have now joined Championship rivals Cardiff City on trial.
