Being bombarded with scam messages is something that all of us have faced at some point - but one woman has found a nifty way of getting her own back.
Shaina Gimao, from the Philippines, shared a screengrab of her hilarious response on Twitter, in which she wrote: "Congratulations! You have successfully subscribed to Prayer Of The Day".
When the scammer attempted to opt out of her messages by replying 'Cancel', she went on to write: "Sorry, you have entered an invalid code. Please try again."
Other social media users were quick to applaud her response, with one writing "Well played!".
Sharing screengrabs of the amusing exchange on Twitter, Shaina commented: "How to give scammers a mini heart attack."

The student had received a scam text saying that she'd won a large cash prize and a laptop.
She responded by saying: 'Congratulations! You have successfully subscribed to Prayer Of The Day! 50 PESOS will be deducted from your load.

Shaina went on to quote a verse of the bible, writing: "I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken - Psalm 16:8"
The scammer, apparently wanting to unsubscribe from 'Prayer Of The Day', simply replied 'Cancel'.
But determined to give the scammer a taste of his own medicine, the student wrote back: "Sorry, you have entered an invalid code. Please try again."
Her tweet has been shared more than 63,000 times on Twitter, with one follower commenting: "Omg hilarious".
Another added: "When the scammer gets scammed.."
