The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has sought the State government’s intervention to protect the interests of employees of ancillary units of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL). .
In a representation to the Collector, R. Natarajan, CPI(M)-affiliated BHEL Tiruverumbur union secretary, urged the State government to give instructions to the BHEL to give priority to the ancillaries while awarding sub-contracts.
