The incident happened on Sunday night at Andrahal near Bondaghati under the jurisdiction of Mudulipada police station, they said.



The Maoists ransacked the construction camp, and set afire earth movers, tractors, vans, a roller and a mixer machine, a police officer said.

A police team has been sent to the site to investigate the matter, Malkangiri Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagmohan Meena said. The Border Security Force (BSF) and the police have started a combing operation in the area, he said.
