That can have fatal consequences, as shown by a new interactive map tracking Texas' most dangerous areas for pedestrians.
Created by the Hill Law Firm using 2012-2015 Texas Department of Transportation crash data, the map shows which Houston and Texas roadways have seen the most crashes, fatalities and injuries.

Media: Fox 26 HoustonOver the three-year period in which the data was collected for Bayou City, 117 intersections saw 166 crashes and 167 injuries, according to an analysis accompanying the interactive map.
The intersection with the most crashes in Houston was the Main Street and Pierce Street area.
