article imageReview: Parralox infectious on 'Electric Nights' single and music video Special

Australian dance duo Parralox shines on their new track "Electric Nights," as well as its music video. Digital Journal has the scoop.
Johanna Gervin and John von Ahlen are divine on the co-lead vocals of "Electric Nights," with backing vocals from Louise Love, Roxy and Johnny X. The music video is dedicated to John Carpenter, and it was directed by John von Ahlen, which proves that he is a jack-of-all-trades.
"Electric Nights" was co-penned by John Collins, Rowena Martin and John von Ahlen, the latter of which also served as the producer of the track. The song is upbeat, catchy and fun, with a retro 80's and 90's pop vibe to it.
The Verdict
Overall, Parralox is superb on their feel-good new track, which is well-crafted from start to finish. The synthesizers and the production are both solid. It deserves to become a dance-floor anthem, and it is certainly worth more than just a passing glance. "Electric Nights" garners an A rating.
"Electric Nights" is available on iTunes.
