VIPS Celebrates Its Annual Convocation

In order to succeed, you should prove yourself different from others and build your own path in life, says Suresh Narayanan, CMD, Nestle India

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) awarded degrees to 1200 students at convocation on Thursday (14 December). Convocation address was delivered by Suresh Narayanan, CMD, Nestle India.

While addressing students, Narayanana said, "In order to succeed, you should prove yourself different from others and build your own path in life. Becoming good humans is more important than earning villas, cars and shareholders."

Dr Bhurelal, former Chairman Environment Pollution Prevention Authority, NCT added that the present generation needs to focus on becoming rational beings by keeping national and public interest above their personal interests. He also highlighted the importance of analyzing one's strengths and weaknesses in order to have a leading professional life.

He apprehended the growth of VIPS as a centre of excellence in academics. Sh. Krishan Aggarwal ,Vice Chairman ; Sh. Ajay Bindal, Vice Chairman; Prof. I.M Pandey, Director General, Prof. Dr Rattan Sharma and Dalip Kumar, Registrar VIPS graced the ceremony along with more than 200 faculty members.

Dr  I. M. Pandey, DG VIPS presented the annual report and mentioned about the placement of its students in judicial services and Army. He also highlighted the academic excellence of the institute by mentioning the international tie-ups , publications and other achievements of the faculty as well as students.
