Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury called in some big-time help when he surprised sophomore walk-on Justus Parker with a scholarship.

During a team meeting on Monday, Kingsbury said he had a message from the New England Patriots who had just defeated the Steelers. That was when Texas Tech product Danny Amendola appeared on screen. He had a message for Parker but wanted Rob Gronkowski to join in.

The Patriots tight end - in total Gronk fashion - announced that Parker was getting a scholarship. The team went completely bonkers and swarmed Parker to celebrate the news.

These videos are always great.

Texas Tech will close out its season in the Birmingham Bowl against USF on Saturday.
