THIS London-based couple were the pot of gold at the end of a vibrant rainbow when they got married on the Gold Coast.
THE COUPLE: Amber Austin-Wright, 32, journalist, David Sciasci, 31, camera operator and editor

THE LOVE STORY: It sounds like a scene straight from a rom com ...
"We met on the job in Byron Bay while covering a news story in 2012," Amber says.
And while they didn't get together for a few years after that, the proposal moved at a far faster pace.
"David proposed spontaneously, after thinking about the idea a few days before. We told people the next morning and then he went shopping for a ring!"

THE BIG DAY: The pair got married October 21 at Braeside Chapel, Merrimac. The couple currently live in London, but given Amber grew up on the Gold Coast and David Brisbane, it made sense to have their wedding in Queensland.
That meant their special day was a wedding as well as a reunion.
"Seeing most of the people we love dearly all in the same room was surreal!" David says.
"Also looking at each other while Amber was walking down the aisle - there was so much build up and excitement. Sharing our special day with friends and family who we haven't seen in a long time made it extra special."
But the Londoners also suspect they brought the rain over with them.
"For the three and half weeks we were back, it rained nearly the whole time but it was all worth it for that stunning shot with the rainbow on the big day," Amber says.

THE SOUNDTRACK: The Wings, by Gustavo Santaolalla played by a violinist.

THE DRESS: "My dress was from Babushka Ballerina in Brisbane, and when I tried it on I knew it was the one," Amber says. "I wanted long sleeves, and I love soft lace. I especially loved the open back on it though."
