Revolutionary Writers Association (Virasam) senior member Varavara Rao, said the recent encounter in Bhadradri Kothagudem district was fake and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao should be held responsible for it.
“We demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident. This is the largest fake encounter since the formation of Telangana,” he said, addressing a press conferencehere on Sunday.
Mr. Rao said that at a time when nine innocent youngsters were killed by the Government and thousands of adivasis were protesting for their rights across the State, the Chief Minister was taking part in the World Telugu Conference.
“The CM is forcing adivasis to leave the forest, so that they (forests) can be transferred to private companies for mining,” he alleged.
