Mahindra Powerol launches new range of diesel generators in Kolkata

Mahindra and Mahindra's pioneer business unit Powerol launched a new range of diesel generators in Kolkata today.
They
are offering these generators in 250kVA and 320kVA variants. These DGs have
been equipped with Mahindra's mPower engine for lesser emission, according to a
company statement.
The
DG sets have been introduced in a new and unique coral orange colour to enhance
their aesthetic appeal.
Hemant Sikka, President - Chief Purchase Officer, Powerol's Spares Business, Mahindra said, "This launch marks our foray into the higher kVA Diesel Generator segment, with our own engines, which in turn will define a new segment and consumer group for us."
Powerol has 200 dealers throughout the country. While the 250kVA diesel generator is priced at Rs 12.5 lakh excluding GST, the 320kVA variant is priced at Rs. 16.0 lakh excluding GST.
