In pictures: Ranveer Singh bonds with Deepika’s legendary dad Prakash Padukone in Bengaluru

It looks like Ranveer Singh is trying to bond with alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone‘s family. And like a good boyfriend Ranveer reached Bengaluru to support her father Prakash Padukone. Wondering why! Well Badminton ace Prakash Padukone along with Rahul Dravid launched the ‘Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence’ in Bengaluru.

The event witnessed top Indian players from different fields like Rahul Dravid, Abhinav Bindra, Vishwanathan Anand and Geet Sethi grace the event. And Ranveer Singh shared several selfies with these legends but the picture with Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone caught our attention. Deepika too was present on the occasion. Ranveer shared the selfie on Instagram account captioning it as, “God of Badminton”.

Meanwhile, Deepika also took to her social media account to post a picture and captioned it as: “Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence [PDCSE]—this is by far the BEST thing that could’ve happened to Indian Sport! Congratulations! #PrakashPadukone #RahulDravid#VivekKumar [sic.]”

Deepika Padukone looked lovely at an event in Mumbai today. Deepika was there in connection with the release of a campaign related to a bank that both she and her father Prakash Padukone endorse. The Tennis star Mr Padukone spoke about women empowerment and added that he was very proud of his daughter. Deepika spoke about her life and career. She mentioned that she was excited for the release of her movie opposite Ranbir Kapoor – Tamasha. She also said she is looking forward to her big release ‘Bajirao Mastani’ on December 18th. Well, the father daughter duo were definitely the highlight of the evening, both stars in their own rights. Deepika has been busy shooting for these mega movies. She and the team of Tamasha recently wrapped up their shoot. Deepika is now concentrating on BM. She said that BM is not a movie but an experience.
