Festooned with handpicked diamonds from Botswana and designed by Prince Harry himself, it's safe to say Meghan Markle would be mad not to love her engagement ring - but not everyone is quite so lucky.

According to the Daily Mail, hordes of women have admitted to demanding a bigger and more expensive rock than the one they were first proposed to with.

Fussy fiancées from around the world have revealed what they really think of the rings they were presented with by their hopeful partners on secret sharing site Whisper.

Some women who have been married to their husband for many years even said they'd demanded a "ring upgrade".

Not everyone feels this way though, wives say that despite the diamond being small, the sentimental value means more than the expense.
