C'garh: Four of family found dead in their house

Four members of a family, including two minor children, were found dead at their house in Chhattisgarh's district today, police said.

"While (30) was found hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen of his house, bodies of his wife (27), son (2) and daughter (5) were found in a room early this morning," Station House Officer, station, told


Prajapati's house is located in locality of Bhilai, around 40 kms from the state capital, under station.

According to reports, the bodies were first spotted by neighbours of the Prajapatis who didn't get response after knocking their door in the morning.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, the said.

He said the bodies of the woman and the children didn't bear any injury marks.

"It appears they (the woman and the children) were strangulated to death," the SHO said, adding that the exact cause of their death will be known on receipt of postmortem report.

"Prima facie, first killed his wife and kids before committing suicide," Sahu said.

A suicide note was found near Prajapati's body, he said.

"The note reads 'sath jiyenge, sath marenge. Kisiki galti nahi hai' (..will live together and die together. No one is guilty)," the said.

He said the case was being investigated from all angles.
