Get details on restaurants cited by Maricopa County inspectors for four or more priority violations the week of Nov. 27. 

A priority violation is a major violation that directly contributes to increasing the risk of food-borne illness or injury. If listed in the reports, remedies implemented during inspections are included.

At bottom, see a sampling of the many restaurants graded as an A for no violations.

5 violations

Creole Cajun Bistro, 5070 S. Gilbert Road, Suite 400, Chandler.

  1. Zucchini bruised and moldy. Discarded.
  2. Raw chicken wings and raw beef stored above produce and bread. Items rearranged.
  3. Chlorine sanitizer in dishwasher below proper concentration. Sanitizer line re-connected and restored to proper levels.
  4. Etoufee stew held at improper temperature. Reheated.
  5. Chemical dispenser attached to mopsink faucet with atmospheric vacuum breaker upstream and the water turned on.

Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy, 16092 Arrowhead Fountains Center Drive, Peoria.

  1. Employee handled dirty dishes then clean equipment without changing gloves. Employee washed hands and changed gloves. 
  2. Chlorine sanitizer in warewashing machine below proper concentration.
  3. Shredded beef, cooked cheese and vegetable sauce held at improper temperature. Reheated.
  4. Cooked green chili sauce held at improper temperature. Discarded.

The Living Room Wine & Cafe Lounge, 2475 W. Queen Creek Road, Suite 1, Chandler.

  1. Employee wiped gloved hands on pants between handling food. Employee washed hands and donned new gloves.
  2. Cooked beans and pork held at improper temperature. Reheated.
  3. Diced tomatoes, sliced tomatoes and Swiss cheese held at improper temperature.
  4. First aid kit with liquid antiseptic stored above prep table. Items moved.

  1. Raw pork stored over ready to eat foods. Items rearranged.
  2. Cooked rice held at improper temperature. Discarded.
  3. Butane lighter wand stored over ginger root, soy sauce and other food items. Lighter wand moved. Third consecutive violation.
  4. Chlorine sanitizer above proper concentration. Water added to dilute sanitizer.
