Speaking at the district BJP office here on Monday, after observing the victory celebrations, he said that the able leadership of the Prime Minister has brought victory to the party and has inspired the party workers immensely. The contributing factors to the victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh will play a significant role in Karnataka assembly polls as well, he said.
He also said that the misinformation on Electronic Voting Machines is only an attempt by the opposition to weaken democratic values. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's justification on Congress' performance in the polls is laughable, he added.
Workers celebrate
BJP workers celebrated the victory of BJP by bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets at Azad Park Circle. They also took out a procession from BJP office to the Azad circle earlier.
BJP leaders Varasiddhi Venugopal, C H Lokesh, Kote Ranganath, ZP Agriculture and Industries Standing Committee President Kavita Lingaraju, Taluk Panchayat President E R Mahesh and CMC President Shilpa Rajashekhar were present among others.
