Google Maps Street View - created in 2007 - reveals some of the funniest and most confusing images from every corner of the globe.

It was initially created to be able to open up the world to people from their home, although is often used to spot funny images.

From paranormal activity to awkward encounters,  many think they have spotted something from another world.

One sighting in Ghana has confused Google Maps users.

Spotted on a road leading to the airport, a car can be spotted in the ditch.

Whilst there appears to be no-one in it, the abandoned Audi is a confusing sight.

The angle in which it has crashed is the opposite of the flow of traffic, raising the question how it ended up there in the first place.

Other drives appear unfazed as they continue down the road, suggesting the vehicle has been there for a while.

It isn’t the first time a confusing car crash has been spotted by Google Maps.

Three drivers were involved in an incident on the coast of Scotland, with a car in the ditch whilst the female owner looked on in confusion.

Two bikers have also joined her to help but it appears she reversed in confusion into the hole next to the road.

Thankfully, none of them were hurt in the incident.

A bizarre figure was spotted on a street in Romania, with many thinking it was a ghost.

The figure was dressed in white from head to toe as it nonchalantly crossed the road.

Of course, the figure wasn't actually a creature from another world. 

It actually was an older woman, who was dressed all in white with white hair to match.
