As expected, the blackout was a gimmick for his upcoming film, Aiyaary. Sid returned to his social networking sites on orders of co-actor Manoj Bajpayee. Neeraj Pandey's film has Bajpayee play an army major who is Sid's mentor. As soon as he received orders from his senior, he was back in the game. A rather given way to grab eyeballs, which left a bitter aftertaste among Sid's online fans.
