Ujjain: Shiv Sena to contest all 230 assembly seats in MP

Ujjain: Shiv Sena will contest all 230 seats, including seven in Ujjain, in the upcoming MP assembly elections. State chief of the party Thaneshwar Mahawar said poor condition of road and health services along with lack of employment will be party’s poll plank.
Talking to reporters after attending divisional level convention of the party at Harsiddhi Marriage Garden on Sunday, Mahawar said that people were looking for an alternative of BJP and the Congress. They have lost faith in both parties.
Accusing BJP of back-stabbing the party in Maharashtra without any consideration of old alliance, he said that party leadership has already distanced itself from the BJP and the NDA. Stating that the party was making inroads in MP and has seven elected peoples’ representatives in different civic bodies, he claimed that party had created a worker base of 10,000 in every district of the state,
Earlier during the convention, Shiv Sena accused BJP of suppressing regional parties and its policies. Shiv Sena’s district president Dinesh Prajapati, State Youth Army Chief Pushpendra Singh Bhadauria, Bantubhai Tangre, Uttam Kapse (both Nagpur), Indore Ujjain divisional in-charge Suresh Gurjar and Sanjay Kothari also addressed the conference.
