Rochester police are looking for the man who allegedly shot at another vehicle on Sunday after arguing over traffic congestion in a busy parking lot.

Rochester Police Lt. Aaron Colletti said officers were called to the parking lot of Tops Friendly Markets, 285 Upper Falls Blvd., around 9 p.m., "for a delayed report of shots fired."

The vehicle of a 57-year-old Rochester man, had multiple bullet holes in it, he said.

Colletti said it appeared that the vehicle owner and an other man had gotten into an argument over traffic congestion in the lot just before the 57-year-old man drove east on Upper Falls Boulevard.

An unknown suspect reportedly followed the man and fired several times at the man, Colletti said. The man was not injured, but bullets struck his vehicle several times, Colletti said.

Officers continue to investigate the incident. They did not say what time the encounter occurred.
