Tata Power Renewable Energy today said it has commissioned its 100 MW solar plant project in Karnataka. With this, the company’s total installed operating capacity now stands at 1,614 MW, it said in a statement issued here.

“The commissioning of the 100 MW solar plant in Karnataka we will continue to seek potential areas across India and in select international markets through organic and inorganic opportunities,” company’s CEO Rahul Shah said.

The company has entered into a 25 years power purchase agreement with NTPC at a tariff of Rs 4.79 per unit.
